Engine management light
- What it usually means
- The engine computer has stored a fault. It could be a sensor, boost, fuelling or emissions problem, so the light on its own doesn't tell you which.
- What we do
- We read the fault codes and the live data to find the cause, then explain the fix before any work is done.

Stage 1 remap
A software-only remap for a standard car or van. Nothing on the engine is changed.

Stage 2 remap
For cars that already have supporting parts fitted, such as an upgraded intake, intercooler or exhaust. The calibration is written around those parts.

Stage 3 remap
For cars with major upgrades such as a bigger or hybrid turbo and uprated fuelling. The calibration is written around the whole build.

Economy remap
Set up for smooth, efficient driving rather than outright power. Popular with van drivers, taxi drivers and anyone doing big miles.

- Suits vans and fleets with a lot of motorway miles
- Savings depend on the vehicle and how it’s driven
Gearbox remap
Automatic gearboxes have their own software. Adjusting it can sharpen shifts and keep the gearbox in step with a remapped engine.

- Can be done alongside an engine remap
- Not every gearbox can be adjusted, and we’ll tell you if yours can’t

Yes. Remapping and diagnostics are done at your home, workplace or yard across the West Midlands. We’re based in Willenhall.
Will you check the car before remapping it?
Yes, every time. We scan for faults and look at live data first. If there’s a problem, we tell you before anything is changed.
What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?
Stage 1 is software only, for a standard car. Stage 2 is for cars with supporting parts already fitted, and the calibration is written around them.
Is remapping legal, and do I need to tell my insurer?
Remapping is legal in the UK. It counts as a modification, so you should tell your insurer.
Can my original software be put back?
We read and keep your car’s original file before writing anything, so it can be put back if you need it.
