Stage 1 remap
A software-only remap for a standard car or van. Nothing on the engine is changed.

Stage 2 remap
For cars that already have supporting parts fitted, such as an upgraded intake, intercooler or exhaust. The calibration is written around those parts.

Stage 3 remap
For cars with major upgrades such as a bigger or hybrid turbo and uprated fuelling. The calibration is written around the whole build.

Economy remap
Set up for smooth, efficient driving rather than outright power. Popular with van drivers, taxi drivers and anyone doing big miles.
- Done at your yard or depot, so vans aren’t off the road for long
- Suits vans and fleets with a lot of motorway miles
- Savings depend on the vehicle and how it’s driven
Gearbox remap
Automatic gearboxes have their own software. Adjusting it can sharpen shifts and keep the gearbox in step with a remapped engine.
- We check the gearbox’s torque limits first
- Can be done alongside an engine remap
- Not every gearbox can be adjusted, and we’ll tell you if yours can’t

Cars, vans and fleets
Most of our remaps are on everyday cars, vans and pick-ups. Vans often benefit most, especially when they’re loaded or towing.

Before we remap anything
- Health check first We scan for faults and look at live data before anything is changed. A remap won’t fix a fault, so we don’t remap a car that isn’t healthy.
- Original file saved Your car’s original software is read and kept, so it can be put back if you ever need it.

Will I notice a difference?
Most drivers notice stronger pull through the gears and better response when overtaking. How much depends on the engine, the gearbox and the condition of the car.
Is remapping legal, and do I need to tell my insurer?
Remapping is legal in the UK. It counts as a modification, so you should tell your insurer.
Does a remap affect my warranty?
It can. If the car is still under a manufacturer or dealer warranty, check with them before you book.
Can my original software be put back?
Yes. We read and keep your car’s original file before writing anything.
Will you remap a car with a fault?
No. A remap isn’t a fix for a fault. If the health check finds a problem, we’ll tell you and talk through the fix first.
